Nollywood veteran actors, Olu Jacobs and Joke Silva are one of Nollywood’s oldest couples. The king and queen of house Jacobs celebrated their wedding anniversary on November 16th. This marks 35 years of marriage and they are still going strong.
Joke took to her Instagram page to indulge her fans to celebrate with the couple. She wrote “35 years together…thank you Lord. Here is to many more years. Happy Wedding anniversary Omo boy.”
The couple met on the set of Wole Soyinka’s “Jero’s Metamorphosis” and it is described by both thespians as love at first sight. They have been together ever since. Public has longed to see Olu Jacobs back on screen but his absence has left people wondering if he has retired. However, Joke is still quite active and relevant.
Her recent movie “Citation” was released on the 6th of November 2020.
The couple have been an inspiration to entertainers everywhere.
