Early Life

Kiki Omeili hails from Nimo in Anambra State and is of Igbo ethnicity. Her father, Charles, worked as a banker and retired as a general manager, while her mother, Maureen, served as the controller of prisons in Ibadan, Oyo State. Omeili’s interest in performing arts began during her primary and secondary school years, continuing through her time at the University of Lagos, where she earned a medical degree in 2006.

Career

Kiki Omeili’s acting career started in 2011 when she auditioned for the role of Debbie in the TV series Behind the Smile. She later appeared in Married but Living Single, collaborating with prominent actors such as Funke Akindele and Joseph Benjamin. In 2012, she gained recognition for her role as Lovette in Lekki Wives, which earned her an expanded contract for a second season in 2013. Omeili’s versatility led to roles in various TV series, such as The Valley Between and Gidi Culture.

In 2016, Kiki Omeili Biography made her film debut as a producer with the short film Unprotected. She also starred in the film Couple of Days and later premiered Iterum at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2019, her debut feature film Run was released, earning accolades at international film festivals.

Omeili has received several awards, including Best Actress at the African Film Awards and the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards. She is also passionate about cancer awareness and has worked with Project Pink Blue to raise funds and awareness.
