Balogun Olamilekan, widely known as Balloranking, continues to make waves as a fast-rising Nigerian Afro-Pop singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born in 1997 and raised in Lagos, Balloranking found his musical roots in the church choir, where his father served as the choir conductor. This early exposure shaped his passion for music and laid the foundation for his career.
Career
He launched his solo career at 17 and quickly gained public attention with breakthrough tracks like “Realize” (2022) and “We Up” (2023). His energetic sound, street-inspired lyrics, and emotional depth earned him a solid fanbase.
Balloranking delivered standout performances in songs such as “Thankful,” “Holiday,” “Blessed,” “Loyalty,” and “Marama.” His debut album Zero Panic (2021) and his 2022 project Trench Kid earned critical acclaim, with tracks like “Astray” and “Feeling You” highlighting his musical range.
He collaborated with major artists including Zinoleesky, Lyta, and the late Mohbad. These partnerships expanded his reach and showcased his ability to blend effortlessly with various musical styles.
