Early Life

Victor Eugenie Adere was born on August 2, 1993, in Kirikiri, Apapa, Lagos State. He grew up with his family as the second of four children. Victor AD attended Heritage International School in Lagos and later Ekpan Secondary School in the Uvwie area of Warri metropolitan region. These formative years helped shape his passion for music and storytelling.

Career

Victor AD started his music career in early 2014. He collaborated with several talented producers, including Kulboybeat, Kizzybeatz, ID Clef, and Mr Nolimitz, to develop his sound. His first official release, “Jowo,” quickly became popular and was adopted as a theme song by Radio Continental, increasing his visibility in the Nigerian music scene.

In 2017, He released the single “No Idea.” The song’s music video, filmed and directed by Cinema House Images in late 2018, received widespread airplay and support from Nigerian TV stations.

Victor AD gained significant recognition on June 17, 2018, with the release of his breakthrough single “Wetin We Gain.” This track resonated deeply with listeners, earning millions of views on YouTube. His rising profile attracted the attention of Longitude Promotions, who took on his management in 2018, helping to elevate his career to new heights. Victor AD continues to build on his success, blending heartfelt lyrics with vibrant Afrobeat rhythms.
