Early Life
Joseph Omo Ebhodaghe, known as Joe Praize, was born on June 20, 1979, in Edo State, Nigeria, into a family of nine. He became born again in 1991 and pursued his education in Social Work and Administration at the University of Jos, Plateau State. His journey into ministry began at Christ Embassy, also known as LoveWorld, where he served as a praise and worship leader.
Career
Joe Praize gained national and international recognition with the release of Mighty God, a standout track from his debut album My Praise. His unique voice and spirit-filled delivery quickly set him apart in gospel music.
He has ministered in countries such as South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ghana, Italy, and more. Joe Praize has earned numerous awards including Song of the Year at the LoveWorld Awards (2010), Best West Africa at the Africa Gospel Music Awards (2011), and a Lifetime Achievement honor at the Gospel Music Awards in Italy.
In addition to solo success, he collaborated with gospel artist Ayo Vincent on You Are Great, which won Best Gospel Video at the 2014 Crystal Awards.
He married Joana in June 2017, and they welcomed their first child, a son, on August 26, 2018.
