Uche Frances Nwaefuna, popularly known as Uche Montana, is a Nigerian actress, screenwriter, and film producer. Born on May 8, 1997, she was raised in Lagos State. She attended Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education International School before earning a diploma in Law. Her early education provided a strong foundation, but her passion for the arts soon led her into the world of film and television.
Career
Uche Montana began her acting career in 2015 with her debut role in the film Poison Ivy. Her talent quickly drew attention, and in 2016, she gained prominence with her performance in the Africa Magic television series Hush, where she played a significant supporting role. Her work on Hush earned her recognition and led to her winning the Moreklue All Youth Awards (MAYA) for Best Supporting Actress.
Since then, Uche Montana has built a strong portfolio in Nollywood, appearing in acclaimed films like The Fake Life of Abuja Housewives and Hire a Woman. Known for her versatility, she effortlessly blends drama, romance, and intensity in her roles.
