Early Life
Michael Onome Ejoor was born on January 9, 1988, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He hails from the Urhobo ethnic group and was raised in a Christian household as the youngest of three children.
Ejoor pursued higher education in the United Kingdom, earning a Bachelor of Science in Management Science with Business from the University of Hertfordshire. He furthered his studies with a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Before venturing into acting, Ejoor worked in various corporate roles, showcasing his versatility and entrepreneurial spirit.
Career
Michael Ejoor began his professional journey combining his corporate skills with a passion for entertainment. While studying, he developed talents in hosting and emceeing, which later evolved into acting. Over the years, he has also featured in over twenty Nollywood films and television series, including notable titles such as Tinsel, Unbroken, Summer Rain, Hotel Labamba, This Lady Called Life, and Unclaimed. Beyond acting, Michael is also an accomplished MC, director, and influencer, which showcases his versatility within the entertainment industry.
Most recently, Michael also gained widespread recognition for his role as Onome in the critically acclaimed crime thriller To Kill a Monkey, created and directed by Kemi Adetiba.
His powerful portrayal of Onome, a complex character whose actions deeply impact the storyline, has been praised for its emotional depth and authenticity, solidifying his place among Nollywood’s rising stars.
