Early Life and Education

Berri Tiga was born on October 10, 2000, in Benue State, Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary education within the state before enrolling at French Village International College in Badagry, Lagos State. There, he earned a diploma in French, equipping him with language skills that influence his musical creativity.

Career

Berri Tiga launched his music journey in 2016 by creating and sharing song covers on social media. His consistency and talent caught attention, and in 2021, he signed with Big Brother Management (BBR) Records.

He gained widespread recognition in 2022 when he featured on the hit song Machala by Efe Carter, a tribute to Wizkid. The track resonated deeply with fans, especially Wizkid FC, debuting at number two on the TurnTable Nigeria Top 100 and topping the Apple Music Nigeria chart. It quickly became a favorite in clubs and public spaces.

However, controversy struck in August when the song was pulled from streaming platforms due to royalty and ownership disagreements. The issue went viral but was later resolved, and the song returned online.

Berri Tiga has expressed interest in collaborating with industry giants such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, Davido, D’banj, and Rema highlighting his ambition to grow among the greats.
