Chief Priest, born Pascal Chubuike Okechukwu on March 26, 1982, in Orsu, Imo State, is a Nigerian entertainer, entrepreneur, and recording artist widely known as Cubana Chief Priest. He built his name as a nightlife promoter and General Manager of the Cubana Group before branching fully into music.

His relationship with Davido, dating back to a memorable 2018 performance at Cubana Grand Hotel in Owerri, helped raise his profile in entertainment circles and eventually led to Davido personally executive producing some of his music. Chief Priest has since released a run of singles including “Odogwu Baby,” “Chibuike,” “Venezuela,” and “Federal Government.”

His 2025 single “Summer Adina,” featuring BoyPee and Zoro Swagbag and produced by Masterkraft, became one of his most notable outings, blending Afrobeats energy with his larger-than-life entertainer persona.

At the 2026 Headies Awards, Chief Priest is nominated for Best Alternative Song for “Summer Adina” and Best Collaboration for “Finally” featuring Spyki.
