Early Life

Yhubee Originally named Ubong-Abasi Ephraim Samuel,was born on August 14, 1996, making him 29 years old as of 2025.He is from the Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria.

Growing up in Akwa Ibom before relocating to Lagos State, he discovered a passion for music early learning drums and guitar, and developing his vocals from his teenage years.

Career

Yhubee started his music career professionally around 2010 when he featured on a track titled “Alaji, Skelewa, Over” under the label Nicolet Boy Nation (NBN).

In 2018 he released his first official single “Sound,” produced by Austynobeatz, and later that year “Special‑Something,” produced by Mr Soul. His music blends reggae‑dancehall, Afrobeat and hip‑hop influences, and he cites artists such as Drake, Burna Boy, Fela Kuti, and Ice Prince as inspirations.

In August 2024, he released the single “Keep Going” under the label Artical Nation Entertainment. He uses platforms such as SoundCloud and other streaming services to distribute his music and build his following.

Yhubee represents a passionate voice in Nigeria’s music scene combining reggae‑dancehall, Afrobeat, and hip‑hop with authentic storytelling.
