Early Life
Born on September 25, 1983, Ibrahim Onimisi-Suleiman hails from Nigeria and studied Architecture at Ahmadu Bello University. While in university, he discovered a passion for dance and began performing professionally at the age of 18.
Career
For 11 years, Ibrahim pursued a career in dance, drawing early inspiration from Michael Jackson’s electrifying performance at the 1995 MTV Awards. He joined a dance crew named Soul Quest, which won the inaugural Malta Guinness Street Dance National Championship in 2008. This victory propelled them to international platforms and opened the doors of show business to Ibrahim.
Following the competition, he became a brand ambassador for Malta Guinness and later represented major brands like MTN, GTBank, Peak, and Unilever in various commercial campaigns. His dancing success laid the groundwork for his smooth transition into Nollywood.
After retiring from dance, Ibrahim ventured fully into acting. His natural charisma and dedication quickly earned him leading roles. He gained significant recognition after starring alongside his future wife, Linda Ejiofor, in the long-running television series Tinsel. He later starred in major productions, including the acclaimed 2022 thriller Blood Sisters, sharing the screen with top actors like Ramsey Nouah, Nancy Isime, and Ini Dima-Okojie.
Ibrahim is happily married to actress Linda Ejiofor. The couple met through their shared work in Nollywood and now share a son, Keon Iman Suleiman.
