Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has spoken publicly about past mistakes, including a widely reported legal incident in London. The artist made the comments in a preview of the Mic On podcast, where he reflected on both personal and professional regrets.

The discussion focused on a confrontation involving his wife, Natasha Osawaru, in October 2025, which reportedly led to his arrest. Taking responsibility, Idibia admitted that his emotions got the better of him on the day.

“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said.

He also spoke about how the situation has affected him emotionally, revealing that his usual resilience has been shaken.

“My thick-skin is weaker now,” Idibia added.

Beyond the London incident, the “African Queen” singer expressed deeper regret about the direction of his life and some of his past choices. He acknowledged that, like anyone else, he has had moments where he struggled to make the best decisions.

“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions,” he said.

The October 2025 incident previously made headlines after videos surfaced showing a confrontation between Idibia and Osawaru, followed by footage of him being escorted by UK police. While several versions of the story circulated at the time, this podcast appearance marks the first time the singer has publicly admitted fault and spoken about the emotional impact of the event.
