Early Life

Etinosa Idemudia was born in Warri, Delta State, She began her primary education at Victory International School, Warri, and continued at Cambridge International School, Warri, and Igbinedion Education Centre, Benin, Edo State.

In 2011, she earned a bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Engineering from Covenant University. After graduation, Etinosa worked as a Planning Engineer with Delattre Bezons Nigeria, handling oil and gas construction projects. Her passion for performing arts, however, eventually led her to the Royal Arts Academy, where she obtained a Diploma in Performing Arts in 2016, marking a turning point from engineering to full-time entertainment.

Career

Etinosa began her entertainment journey by producing comedy skits on Instagram in 2013, featuring Nollywood actors like Daniel K. Daniel. Her skits quickly gained popularity, earning her the Best Online Comic Act award at the 2016 Scream Awards.

She appeared in minor roles, such as a cameo in A Little White Lie, before starring in notable Nollywood productions including Devil in Agbada, Blood of Enogie, The Call, Chairman, Corperโ€™s Hun, and Love in the Wrong Places. She earned critical acclaim for her short film performance in Scheme, winning Best Actress at the 48 Hours Film Project in 2017.

In 2018, Etinosa produced her first feature film, The Washerman, starring prominent Nigerian entertainers. She further solidified her reputation by winning Best Actress in a TV Series (Africa) at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards in 2021. Beyond acting, she produces content for platforms like MTN Comedy Plus and serves as a brand ambassador for MUVng. During the COVID-19 lockdown, she hosted an online talent competition for aspiring actors.

Etinosa welcomed her first child in December 2020. She lost her father in September 2021, describing the loss as her greatest pain.

Etinosa Idemudia has successfully transformed from an engineering professional into one of Nigeriaโ€™s most influential actresses, filmmakers, and content creators.
