Nigerian singer Crayon has sparked intense online debate after posting a series of controversial messages about Mavin Records and its founder Don Jazzy.
The artist shared the statements through his verified X account on Monday. In the posts, Crayon made several claims about his experience with the label he joined in 2019 under Blowtime Entertainment.
In one of the first posts that triggered reactions online, the singer appeared to dismiss Don Jazzy’s authority.
“Don Jazzy na my boy!!!!!! Una dey maddddd!!?? Shayennnnn sharayyyyyy333.”
He also targeted Mavin Records’ Chief Operating Officer, Tega Oghenejobo, accusing him of wrongdoing.
“Highest criminal.”
Crayon continued with a series of allegations regarding his professional and financial situation at the label.
“They were earning $200 million without giving me a penny.”
He also claimed that payments were deliberately delayed.
“They hold my payments for a while to make me suffer.”
The singer then made a shocking personal statement linking the situation to a family tragedy.
“I lost my mother because of the label.”
The posts quickly spread across social media and generated strong reactions from fans and industry observers. However, the allegations have not been independently verified.
Crayon also directed remarks toward his label mate Rema, suggesting tension between the two artists.

The aggressive tone of the posts initially led some users to speculate that the singer’s account had been hacked. However, Crayon has continued updating his Instagram page normally without suggesting any security breach.
