Early Life
Logos Olori, born Olamilekan Emeka Taiwo on March 30, 1999, is steadily carving his niche in Nigeria’s music scene. Signed under Davido’s DMW 2.0 label alongside label mate Morravey, Logos is one of the latest voices pushing the boundaries of Afrobeat and street-pop.
Growing up in the bustling streets of Ajegunle, Lagos, Logos Olori was shaped by a multicultural background—his father hailing from the Yoruba tribe and his mother from the Igbo tribe. He attended primary and secondary schools in Lagos before pursuing a diploma at Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH).
Career
Before catching Davido’s attention, Logos spent years working underground, building his sound and honing his songwriting skills. His big break came in 2022/2023 when Davido signed him to the revamped DMW 2.0 label. Logos quickly made an impression by featuring on Davido’s acclaimed Timeless album on the track “Picasso.” His debut single under DMW, Jaye Lo, stirred conversations, especially for its controversial video.
Beyond that, Logos Olori has collaborated with DJ Spencer on tracks like “Shine” and “Influencer Baby,” gaining traction with his distinct style and vocal delivery. Despite online speculations linking him to fellow artist Asake, neither party has confirmed a relationship.
While Logos keeps his personal life private, many believe he’s in a relationship. However, his primary focus remains clear music. His drive, voice, and originality position him as one of the most promising acts from DMW 2.0.
