Monochrome is a Nigerian artist from Abuja’s underground music scene, best known as part of the trio behind “HOW FAR,” the viral December 2025 single alongside NO11 and Ayjay bobo that helped introduce a wider audience to the city’s emerging Nepopiano sound.
“HOW FAR” blends Afrobeats and amapiano-influenced production with melodic rap, and quickly spread across TikTok and social media before crossing into the mainstream streaming charts, becoming a defining record for the Afronepo movement.
Beyond “HOW FAR,” Monochrome has continued releasing music independently, including singles like “4:44 FREESTYLE,” “Space Duo,” and “GET BUSY,” along with the album +SWAGU°, building a steady catalogue within Abuja’s growing underground scene.
