Early Life

Idia Aisien attended Atlantic Hall High School in Lagos before moving to the United States for higher education. She obtained a B.A. in Journalism from American University in Washington, D.C., and later earned an M.S. in International Public Relations and Global Corporate Communications from New York University.

Her academic background reflects her passion for communication and media on a global scale.

Career

In modeling, Idia Aisien has collaborated with international brands like BMW, Vogue, Black Opal, Nivea, and Alice + Olivia, among others. She has also worked in various corporate and media roles, including positions at Fox 5 News, Discovery Communications, the United Nations, and Atlas Mara.

In Nigeria, she has hosted shows like Style 101 and You Got Issues on Spice TV, and the Mega Millions Lottery Draw on Silverbird. She is currently a presenter with Arise News.

Idia Aisien made her acting debut as the lead character in the remake of the classic Nollywood film Nneka The Pretty Serpent, which premiered in December 2020. Her performance marked a promising entry into Nollywood.

Known for her intelligence and wit, Idia describes herself as “Smart. Strong. Funny. Complicated. Deep.” In a memorable experience, she once received a Range Rover from a stranger.
