Early Life

Kie Kie was born Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori on 20 June 1990 in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, and was raised there alongside her siblings. She completed her primary and secondary education in Ibadan before proceeding to Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She later pursued a Master’s degree in Marketing from the London School of Business and studied tailoring, couture and pattern-making at the London College of Fashion.

Career

Kie Kie’s career began in 2015 when she joined GoldMyne TV as producer and host of a fashion show. She went on to present ‘Style Street’ on ON TV, analysing fashion trends for a national audience. She later launched her own YouTube channel, Kie Kie TV, which grew a substantial following and established her as one of Nigeria’s leading digital content creators, known for her viral videos and consistently trend-setting fashion sense.

Beyond content creation, Kie Kie has crossed into acting, appearing in film and television productions including ‘A Simple Lie,’ ‘Traffic’ and ‘Mimi.’ She is also a fashion entrepreneur, running her own clothing label, Accost Collections, focused on female apparel including bridal wear, and has worked as a brand ambassador for companies including Tecno, Smirnoff and Perfection Real Estate Group.

Kie Kie is married to Tunji Ilori, whom she has occasionally featured on her social media platforms after initially keeping his identity private. She has remained a consistently visible and outspoken figure in Nigerian pop culture, unafraid to weigh in on entertainment industry conversations.
