Habeeb Okikilola Badmus, widely known as Portable, has been arrested over a serious petition against Saheed.
Veteran Fuji artist Saheed Osupa submitted the complaint to the Kwara State Police Command.
He accused Portable of threats to life, defamation, and character assassination, among other offences.
The petition also mentioned conduct likely to breach public peace and use of abusive language.

The police obtained a court-approved arrest warrant from an Ilorin Magistrate Court.
Officers arrested Portable in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Sunday, April 13, at 7:25 PM.
They transported him immediately to Ilorin for interrogation and legal processing.
His statement was recorded in the presence of legal representatives from both parties.
Allegations Include Threats, Defamation, and Public Incitement
SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi confirmed the allegations included criminal defamation, threats to life, and incitement.
The petition also accused Portable of character assassination and using offensive, abusive language publicly.
The allegations against Portable—criminal defamation, threats to life, incitement, and character assassination—are serious under Nigerian law. Criminal defamation involves publishing false information to damage a person’s reputation and can attract up to two years’ imprisonment or a fine. Threats to life may lead to imprisonment depending on the severity and evidence. Incitement and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace are public order offences, often punished by fines or jail terms. If found guilty on multiple charges, Portable could face combined penalties, including extended jail time, fines, or court-ordered public apologies. The final outcome rests with the court.
Charges Expected as Case Develops
Police confirm Portable remains in custody as legal proceedings begin.
They are preparing formal charges based on the petition and gathered evidence.
Further updates will emerge as the case progresses in court.
