Afeni Shakur, the mother of late 2Pac Shakur died late yesterday evening from a possible heart attack in the state of California.  Afeni was an active member of the Black panthers in the 70’s and 80’s , she was also a philanthropist, political activist and a business woman.

After a though legal battle with Death row records she won the rights to over 150 unreleased 2pac songs which she released under her newly formed Amaru Records.
