Halima Abubakar was born in Kano but hails originally from Kogi State. She spent her early years in Kano, where she attended Ideal Primary School. Driven by a passion for learning, she pursued higher education at Bayero University in Kano, where she studied Sociology. Career
Halima Abubakar began her acting career in 2001 with a minor role in the film Rejected. She quickly worked her way up the industry ladder, landing her first lead role in Gangster Paradise. Over the years, she has appeared in numerous Nollywood productions, known for portraying emotionally charged and dynamic characters.
Beyond acting, Halima expanded her reach in the entertainment world by launching Modehouse Entertainment, a music label and entertainment management company. As CEO, she has taken on a leadership role, nurturing talents and contributing to the growth of Nigeriaโs creative scene.
