Early Life
Dakore Egbuson attended Corona School in Lagos for her early education and later moved to Federal Government Girls’ College in Bauchi for her secondary schooling.
Dakore pursued a degree in Mass Communication at the University of Lagos. However, she left the program before completion due to persistent university strikes that disrupted her studies. Despite this setback, she forged ahead and built a successful career in entertainment. Today, she is happily married and a proud mother of two children.
Career
Dakore Egbuson has built a strong reputation in Nollywood with her versatile acting skills and captivating screen presence. Her commitment to impactful storytelling and her contributions to the film industry have earned her a loyal fan base and widespread respect.
In addition to acting, Dakore has become a vocal advocate for social justice, women’s rights, and humanitarian causes. She serves as an ambassador for several global organizations, including Amnesty International, Amstel Malta, and Oxfam America. In 2019, Dakore joined a global roster of creatives as a featured voice in an international electronic publication under a theme centered on personal and shared experiences. Her interview appeared alongside voices from around the world, including artists, musicians, and thinkers. The publication later revisited her perspective during a follow-up issue released at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, amplifying her thoughts on resilience and community in uncertain times.
